Strengthening India's Aviation Future Through Indigenous Technology
ABCD IT Solutions LLP was pleased to visit Wings India 2026, Asia's leading civil aviation event, held at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. Bringing together policymakers, aviation leaders, airlines, aircraft manufacturers, MRO organisations, technology providers and industry innovators, the event provided an important platform to explore the evolving opportunities and future direction of India's aviation sector.
With the theme “Indian Aviation: Paving the Future – From Design to Deployment, Manufacturing to Maintenance, Inclusivity to Innovation and Safety to Sustainability,” Wings India 2026 highlighted India's growing ambitions across the aviation value chain.
The discussions and industry perspectives reinforced an important direction for the sector: India's aviation growth will depend not only on expanding connectivity, airport infrastructure and aircraft fleets, but also on developing stronger capabilities in aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), business aviation, advanced technologies, skilled manpower and digital transformation.
As India's aviation ecosystem continues to expand, integrated technology platforms, reliable operational data, digital records and connected workflows will become increasingly important in supporting efficiency, safety, compliance and operational visibility.
